Positive: It was so homey, I stayed with my brother and dad for 3 days. Nonna made us feel right at home, always taking care of our needs, always making sure we have everything we needed, everyday making us this incredible homemade breakfast, made by hand with love. The place itself is cozy and beautifully decorated and close to a lot of beautiful hikes in its vicinity.

Positive: The location was great in the middle of the old town. There was no parking, contrary to what was advertize, but there was a public parking relatively close by. The breakfast was excellent.

Negative: We would havw to pay extra to use the second bed, which was not clear. We had to carry our luggage down the steep stairs to get to the house.

Summary: Interesting place in the middle of the old town.

Positive: A really cozy B&B. Teresa, the owner, treated us with great affection and even helped us in the search for our ancestors who were originally from Rivello. Our room was incredible, a really comfortable and spacious sleeping room with a complete bathroom and a great balcony with a beautiful view of the hills. Last but nos least, the breakfast was incredible, a great variety of local products and even homemade products. In summary we had a great experience, a luxury care for a more than fair price.

Positive: The location is great, in the upper part of Rivello and in the side of the mountain so the rooms have great views of the scenery. The rooms are beautifully decorated and renovated while still maintaining a medieval and classical essence (i.e. the raw fireplace). They are spacious, with comfortable beds and even better bathroom. You can relax in the garden looking at the valley or enjoy a very tasty breakfast they prepare!

Negative: Be advised that Rivello is a medieval type town, so it's full of up & down streets with intertwining stairs and often most properties are not directly accesible by car. Lo Straniero is no exception and you'll have to walk a bit and go down a full set of stairs in order to reach the place, therefore it is not accesible for people with reduced mobility. Other than that you should greatly enjoy it!
